My original prospective buyer backed out, and no others contacted me,
so I'm reducing the price to try to get the saw out of my garage.

This saw was Delta's introductory model two years ago when I bought
it two years ago. It's a starter saw that might be of interest to
someone considering getting into woodworking, but who does not
want to spend much money finding out. It's also very compact.
It works well enough, but the fence is made of stamped metal, and
is not perfectly straight. I would recommend adding narrow board as
an auxilliary fence, as described in the owner's manual. (The fence
has threaded holes to accept the bolts used to attach the board.)
The saw is still in good condition and includes the manual, miter
gage, and blade-changing wrenches.
If you want to read some user opinions, search for "Delta 36-545
Table Saw" at Amazon.com.
